What’s New with the HP Victus 16 Laptop? HP just released a brand-new laptop called the Victus 16. This is a cheap laptop that works well for both editing and playing games. For a student, a new video editor, or a game developer, this is the best choice. Because of this, I’ll review the HP Victus 16 and list its specs here.
HP Victus 16 Review: Price and Specs
Design
The Victus looks like silver and is made of a synthetic material. This laptop is clean and has a bright logo on the cover. It can be used for gaming, the office, or school. But all in all, it makes you look expensive. As soon as someone next to you sees this cheap beast, they’ll want to know what kind of laptop it is.
Opening
The screen was shaking a lot before, but now it’s stable. The last model needs two hands to open, which doesn’t seem good or useful. But with this Victus 16, you can open it with one hand, which makes it more appealing or better.
Easy to carry: It’s not very light, especially at the back, but for a 16″ laptop, that’s fine. The charger is pretty heavy, even though the laptop itself isn’t that heavy. It’s not as heavy as some other laptops, though, so you can take it with you anywhere, like to work or college. It’s a lot lighter and better than the last Victus.
Processor
It has 16GB of RAM, an Intel Core i7 processor, and a 16-inch screen. These specs can be changed, but don’t think the price will stay the same. It’s easy to use and the keyboard lights up. It also works well with the touchpad. Overall, we can say that the graphics card is good. You can play games at 1080p with medium to high settings and 100+ FPS without any lag. If you want to play at 1440p, you’ll get 60+ FPS in games with a lot of graphics.
Ports
Victus 16 has all the ports it needs. It has audio, USB, Ethernet, and more. It can be charged via Type-C, which is helpful. However, it’s important to note that there is only one extra storage slot, which is not ideal.
With eight screws, it takes a little work to put together. With only one storage slot, it’s not as easy to upgrade as it used to be. Also, the Wi-Fi is a bit slow.
Audio
There are great speakers here, even better than some speakers on more expensive laptops. When you’re playing games like PUBG, you can tell when enemies are nearby because they step on the right spot. Furthermore, the multimedia experience is excellent; for example, when watching a web series, the sound quality is excellent and not artificial.
Battery
The battery lasts for about 8 hours if you watch videos. But it’s not the best when it comes to performance, especially when it’s not charged. The battery life is much better than on other Windows laptops. Most Windows laptops have batteries that last for 4 to 5 hours, but not this one.
Temperature
It has fans to keep it cool. It stays cool while it rests, but the fans are too loud. The laptop might get a little hot when you play games, but not that much. At 1080P, it might lag when you play games like Cyberpunk 2077.
It’s good enough for games. Even though it’s not perfect, it works with most games. If you’re careful with your money, this might be a good choice. GTA 5 can be played at 80 FPS or more, and Forza Horizon 5 can be played at 60 FPS or more in 1080p.
Screen
The screen looks fine. My frequency is 60 Hz, but others are higher. The color is nice and very bright. It’s not hurricane speed, but it’s good for everyday use.
In conclusion, this was our HP Victus 16 Review and Specs. So, if you want to buy this Victus 16, you can, but if you can afford it, I think you should get the Asus Tuf series, which has a 4060 graphic.
